When I download/ upload the new version of Itunes, it does not appear to look like it. It says "current version" but it still has the same interface as the older itunes. I've tried to uninstall/ re-install but nothing works. I run windows 8.1

What are you expecting to see that is different? What "older" version were you on? Every update to iTunes does not result in some huge visual change. It wouldn't say you were running the latest version if you weren't....

OKayy. You dont understand.. my itunes looks like it did before they did a whole remodeling of it.. IT looks like itunes 10 and not itunes 11, although it says it is running 11!
What can I tell you - if you clicked on About and it says you are running 11.1.5 (5), then that is what is running. Are you saying your iTunes screens don't look like this:

Thats not the point. Its itunes 11.
Here's what it should look like. The problem i'm having is that it won't update to 11.whatever from 10. The above is what the new interface should look like. But mine does not, EVENTHOUGH it says i am running the new one.
You are going to need to post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your iTunes screen. I have no idea what you are seeing....

I did before. Where it shows the back itunes and the about itunes screen which states that its 11
