Airplay on and off box not showing on Mavericks Display system preferences

I have just upgraded my Mac from Leopard to Mavericks and cannot see Airplay On and Off box under Displays on System Preferences...anyone knows how to mirror my mac pictures with an apple tv 2 on my 2009 HDTV

MacBook, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

What model is your Mac? It needs to be from 2011 or later
