Whether the diaphragm of EarPods is a paper cone or a plastic cone?

In my country many people think that the diaphragm of EARPODS is a Paper Cone, Not a plastic cone.Only a Paper-Cone-EarPods is genuine original.

Using a lights on the phone light irradiate the vice sound hole, Than look at the sound hole form the side,as down, they think Picture 1 is genuine original,But Picture 2 is counterfeit.

But this argument has not been recognized by Apple, I wish that we can share whether your earpods is Paper-Cone or Plastic-Cone

I am also curious to know.

My theory is that:

1. not all countries have paper-based-cone? because of firesafety standards might be different?

2. plastic-based-cone may suffer a bit loss of bass performance, which apple probably wouldn't bother to document it

A experiment would clarify this:

Tear down a MD827ZM/A and a MD827FE/A from local apple stores.

Thank you Tonefox! Lot's of earpods is Paper-Cone-Diaphragm, But some is Plastic-Cone-Diaphragm. Even though bought in Flagship store.

I don't know why.
