Delete older libraries?

Due to some crashes with my Mac Pro I had to restore from backup. Now on my HD there are multiple libraries with the same name but with a different date. Can I erase the older ones without a problem?

Thanks

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Are you concerned that those libraries caused the crash?

Those are backup libraries, which take up relatively little space. If your current library (say, one of its events) were ever to get corrupted, you would be very glad to have those backups.

No those libraries didn't cause the crash. My pimped Mac Pro had hardware issues with severe crashes in FCP X as a result. I'm now working on an iMac ultimate without any issues.

Back to the question. So even when the backup library says it's say 20gb and the original has also 20gb it's the same 20gb? So no double data? Then I leave it as it is.
