Q: Wet iphone 5

My 1 year old iphone 5 got wet. I saw that the screen was cloudy so I turned off the phone 20 hours ago and put it in rice. How long should I leave it there? How do I use my old phone? It says "no service"

at least a week and then it will be a miracle if it works
is sim dead or discontinued on old iPhone

Hi

As said above at least a week i would maybe also put the bowl of rice with the phone in a airing cupboard or warm room to help the drying process

You might want to also check if your phone your now using is unlocked as that might be your problem?
