Q: Running Pages on Lion or Mountain Lion?

I haven't upgraded to Maverick yet, can I still download an older version of Pages on my MacBook Pro? I'm currently running Lion, but planning to upgrade to Mountain Lion. I use a lot of Excel and Word docs as well, so I don't want to loose those.

No, Pages isn't sold for system older than Mavericks. If you want to use Pages and Numbers and don't want the MS Office you can buy iWork 09 from amazon or ebay or such sites. They will work on Maverick system too when that day comes. I am still mostly on Snow Leopard.

If you buy iWorks you will have to update to version 9.1 or 9.3. I could do that through Software update check but there are pages we can direct you too if needed.
