Anyone know why an mov or mp4 would not be transferring into itunes so that it will play on ipad??

THanks! I am a doofus--I meant m4v.. I have also tried mov and for some reason it just will not transfer.. I am not even getting an error message--it just isn't doing anything...
M4v is just Apple's way of saying something is mp4-video vs. mp4 audio (AAC).
What's the source of the video? If it is something you generated it may not meet exact specifications but I can't help further because I have never synced video to anything myself.
