iTunes U for IOS. It's a course I never viewed and actually deleted in my old iPhone. However, it showing up on my Mac's iTunes library list for my phone.

iTunes doesn't allow me to delete it. The material isn't even listed in iTunes U anymore. It is showing up along with every iTunes U files I downloaded on my original 3GS iPhone in 2009. The material was downloaded with a different Aplle ID. Maybe thay's the issue?
I'm having the same issue. I cannot remove old courses from iTunes on Mac/PC. The course keeps showing up and syncing to my device(s) even after I delete them from iOS multiple times (including selecting the "remove from ALL devices" option). I've signed into all my iTunes accounts as well to try and remove them with no success. To add to the question from philipfromchicago, What is the process for removing iTunes U courses from the iTunes application on a Mac/PC?
Yes, the different AppleID is likely the issue.
If you can provide a link to the course in question, we may be able to try to duplicate your steps.
But the general method is to select the course in iTunes, then do one of the following:
- press the delete key
- select "Delete" from the "Edit" menu
- right-click the item and select Delete

In the newest iOS (8.4.1) all you have to do is swipe down on the class list, which shows the book covers for each class, click "edit" on the top left, click on each class you would like to remove, then click "delete" in the top right.
