FaceTime not working at all

I noticed the problem in April 18 2014. My sister was calling me as usual (Mexico-Canada) and each time that I accepted the call FaceTime only stop working, It didn't quit only stop the ringing call without doing nothing. I tough that I needed update the FaceTime app from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4 I did it and it was even worst.

Then my brother was trying to conect with me using FaceTime and had the same behavior. (I have and Imac and they have ipod Touch).

After I updated FaceTime and I tasted it with an iMac (snow leopard), Macbook black (Snow Leopard this can't be upgrade is only core duo) everything was worst. I couldn't hear the ring in the other terminal.

I star to test with a ipad retina with iOS6 and it didn't work, I updated the ipad to iOS 7 and nothing. From the calling device you can hear the ringing tone, but in the receiver you don't have any indication.

I decided to downgrade the FaceTime to 1.0.2 in the iMac and Macbook, the behavior is wired as before. I can hear the ringing sound in both devices, but each time that I accept the call it stop (not crash, not quit) only stop the call.

By the way I will update the iMac to Mavericks this weekend (but the requirements said that snow leopard is enough for FaceTime ). The problem with my Macbook is that is only coreduo and it doesn't aloud updates. I don't want to complain because is still a wonderful machine for my work presentations using Keynote and the MAC remote IR. The problem is this type of situations when Mac copy the same marketing style that Windows with the updates. The new macbooks doesn't have a Infrared port IR (is very important for me for the presentations). I wanted to buy a new Macbook Pro and they don't have a IR infrared. (What a ****???). Then to update FaceTime they suggest to go with updates of the software, then the applications are not working.

The last weekend my friend was suffering updating his Windows XP to 7, and complaining that windows doesn't have native aplications to sync their own windows phone with outlook calendar. Now he is laughing at me with the FaceTime problem in all my divices.

Mac OS X (10.6.8)
