Original file corrupted after 12142

Hello,

I need an urgent help.

After Motion 5.1 showed error 12142, I closed the app.

Then I tried to reopened the original file, not exported one, but it says "Motion can not open this file."

it has a right extension, .motn.

Again, original file that i was editing, can not be opened.

What should I do to reopen it?

Motion 5, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Motion 5.1

12142 is usually an export failure error due to corrupt media or text in the project and the original project file will not reopen. Have you checked the exported file to see if it is ok? Try the autosave vault and see if you can open a saved version. I would also check for a corrupt font with font book if you had added text to your project.
