Q: Help

Hi, I have broken the screen on my iphone 4s to the point where it is just a black screen but the iphone is still working. Fortuately i have purchased another iphone 4s and wish to transfer my data from my old one to my new through my laptop on icloud. The problem is that it tells me in order to do this I have to enter in the passcode on my iphone, this I cannot do because the screen is broken. How do i therefore go about transferring all my data on my laptop? As i have a lot of emails, texts and contacts on which i cannot afford to lose.
