Q: Need to unlock my phone!!

I was locked out of my 5s today and when I tried the password I still was unable to get in. My phone is from T-moble but they couldnt help me. After tring different passwords with failure my phone now says connect to iTunes witch I did but what is the next step.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1
