ITunes Match - set up issues

I recently purchased Itunes Match. On the initial 3 step upload process my Macbook Pro appeared to 'hang' at stage 3 (which could have been as a result of losing my broadband connection). I re-started the process again and now cannot get past stage 1. The progress bar reaches almost all the way to the end and then gets stuck 'Sending information to Apple'.


Looking then at the icloud status of the tracks within my library, they appear to be at different stages - some 'waiting', some 'matched', some 'uploaded'.


I cannot find any information through ITunes help that appears to match the same issue as I have - can anyone help?
