iMessage is out of control!

I had an iPhone until about a month back, when I accidentely drowned it. I had it connected with iMessage and iCloud, and after I broke my iPhone, i got my dads old phone as a borrow until I had money

to buy a new one.

All my friends and coworkes with iPhone can't message me now, well, they can, i just can't resive them. What do I do?
It's very disturbing not to be able to text people who have iPhone.
Is this connected to me having an iPhone before, or is it something else?

Any one, HELP ME!!!!

Hello mmischa,

You'll need to get in contact with Apple Support in order to have iMessage deactivated, as you no longer have access to the device on which iMessage was set up.

If you experience any of these symptoms, you may want to deactivate iMessage:

You can't receive SMS on your non-Apple device when another person sends them using an iPhone.

If you can't deactivate iMessage after you perform the steps above or you can't access the iPhone, please contact Apple Support.

iOS: Deactivating iMessage
