Im using Final Cut Pro X, and when I add the Super 8mm film effect, my computer freezes up, or majorly slows down. HELP!
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
I want to add it to the entire 3min video, and it slows down when I place it on any single clip.
What are the specs of your computer (especially RAM)?
Also, instead of applying the effect to all the clips, it is easier to add an "adjustment layer" as a connected clip and apply the effect to it. (In case you wondering, an adjustment layer is simply a blank title, i.e., it contains nothing, but affects applied reflect on anything that is below in the timeline).
