iMessage
When I do iMessage to anyone...it shows my email id rather than my cell phone number.
How to change it from email id to number?

Hi,
I recently bought an Iphone 6s, when activating the device is used my brothers sim-card whist i waited to receive mine from vodafone.
Now the phone is set up and i want to use my own sim, but i am having extreme difficulty when it comes to imessage and facetime.
I have tried to sign out and sign in multiple times but this does not affect the loading old number or replace it with my new number.
I thought once i put in the new sim then it would simply replace the old number with the new one, however the new number is not on the send & receive list but the old number with a loading sign and in a faint grey colour, and my apple id.
I have also restored the phone to no hope, and am seriously going around in circles.
