Apr 25, 2014 4:47 PM in response to LaneZhaoby Jules461,I had the same issue where my phone "bricked" after updating to 7.1.1. It wouldn't update and put my iphone 4s in restore mode. I tried to restore it on my computer but it kept giving me errors (connection error, 3014 error, re-cycling to restore again). Nothing seemed to work. The Apple tech that helped me was helpful and we tried a few things. Finally I had to use a different computer with a fresh Itunes download and that restored my iphone.
I did lose everything on that iphone but luckily it didn't have much on it. I feel for those that had their lives on it.
Hope this helps someone out.
Good luck
