For atleast 2 years I have downloaded HD TV programmes to my iPad and played them seemlessly to my TV recently downloads do not play continuously but stop and seem to redownload in 2-5 minute sections.
Recently TV programmes downloaded to my iPad play in short sections using airplay with my Apple TV. It appears that although downloaded they redownload in sections when I attempt to play them. I have very fast broadband speed.
