The AirPort Utility is not offering to update my AirPort Extreme. How do I force an update of my AirPort Extreme?

The recent firmware update is available only for the newer "tower" shaped AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models.

If an update becomes available for your model, you will be notified via AirPort Utility.
