S.M.A.R.T status failing

A few days ago my macbook pro won't launch. I managed to get to this screen that said that my S.M.A.R.T status is failing and that my hard disk couldn't be repaired.

Today I took it to the Expert in an Apple retailer store, and the guy said that my hard disk is indeed gone and since my mac is past its warranty limit it's gonna cost me a **** lot of money.

The thing is my mac is only 1.5 year old, and I don't think a computer that costs so much money breaks down after such a short period with no apparent reason.

The Expert agreed with me on that and told me to try and contact Apple directly so they will give me a a CS Code.

The thing is I can't find a single way of contacting Apple (I don't live in the US),

Does anybody have any idea?

Your computer did not break, your HD failed, some HD last longer than others.

It may be only a 1.5 yrs however your warranty is 1-year out of the box, unless you bought the extended warranty which covers you for 3 yr total from the intial purchase.

You can plead your case, YMMV.
