how do I restore my 4th gen. ipod touch

I got a used ipod and I wanted to make it like new so I hit factory reset and I don't know what to do now.

What model iPod?

What is current status of the iPod? What shows on screen?

It shows a cord and the itunes logo and I went to settings and hit factory reset. My ipod is 4th generation.
