How to partition a new MBPWRD for Windows and also restore with time capsule

I just got a Macbook Pro with Retina Display and I want to restore with a previous time capsule and also partition the disk for Windows. I am wondering which should come first. I understand that if I were to partition, I would need to delete everything on the hard disk. On the other hand, if I were to restore it is best done during start up before I can even partition. Is there no way to partition first before restoring?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.0.x)
