Folders in photos not working

Back when we used older iPhones, we had to make folders for our photos on the computer then sync to the iPhone. Now when I take a photo on my iPhone it won't allow me to put that photo in one of those folders I created back then. It's greyed out. I can click on any of those folders and see all of the photos in it. How do I get the foldert ot react in iOS7?

It is still done this way.

You don't.

Adding photos taken with your iPhone to an album created on the computer was never an option.

You can only add to Albums created on iPhone.
