Problem: The wireless client Obtaining IP address.

Problem: The wireless client Obtaining IP address.

Setup.

I have a fiber circuit which feedes my Wan port. Then

I made a local network that then I branch off to five other AirPort Extremes.

Acting as access points with a static IP for local network, with no security enable and extending the wireless network name is off.

With both types of models, the new & older all extreme models.

Sym:

I can reset the head end airport router with will fix the problem for a day or so.

Question:Can the wireless client cause this type of problem. the reason I asked, everything was working fine for the last 2 two years until I added a new access point. I have change it out with another unit which did not help the dhcp problem.

So my thinking either my head end router is starting to go bad with DHCP or a wireless client interaction may be locking up DHCP until I restart the router again.

Has any one had the same type of problems with DHCP???
