What Compression should I use for DVD

What is the best compression when converting my video files to DVD? My video filees are @ 1080i or 720p and the total lenght is 28:30.

In your signature, you list DVD Studio Pro.

Are you asking about Final Cut Studio-related projects? If so, you may want to ask your questions in the FCS forum.

Just to add that for DVD Studio Pro authoring, most people use Compressor to produce separate video (m2v) and audio (AC3) files. Those are then imported into DVD SP for authoring, and muxing. The Compressor presets for DVD are pretty good and with your length video, you wont have any bit rate budget issues. Compressor will take care of resizing your HD video to SD 16:9 aspect ratio.

Good luck.
