Sound 'drop-outs' on AppleTV

Hi.

I have an Apple TV which I use for watching Netflix, streaming online video (from iPad to TV via AirPlay) and streaming music (from iPad/Spotify to TV via AirPlay).

I often have the experience that the sound disappears for a few seconds (5-20 seconds) and then returns.

It is only the sound that disappears (movie keeps playing and sound is synced when the sound returns).

It only happens occasionally, e.g: Last night I streamed a 60 minute video (iPad to TV via AirPlay) without any drop-outs. Tonight I tried streaming a video, but had quite a few drop-outs. I also tried watching a movie on netflix but had to stop it as the drop-outs were quite frequent.

I have a quite decent and stable connection, and my modem is placed right next to my TV-set

The quality of my HDMI cable, I believe, is rather good/standard.

Anyone else who've had any experience likewise?

Really hope someone has an answer.
