Best video format to ask for

We have a supplier video taping an event and they've asked me what video format I would like to receive for editing. What should I ask for? Obviously 1920 x 1080 but what other specs should I include?

Can't go wrong with ProRes in QuickTime.

ProRes Quicktime 4444 would be the best quality - right?

Yes, but overkill for HD, and you'd better have a wicked fast RAID.

PR422 is enough for HD. HQ is for 2K and 4x4 is for cinema and transparency.
