ATV screensaver was working fine, showing Flickr sets. Then, I changed the screensaver to cover art. Now I cannot get it back to my Flickr photos, it is stuck querying iTunes Match. Will not even offer the default Apple photo set. I tried restarting, even updated to software, to not avail. Turned off iTunes Match, does not help. Any ideas out there?
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
1. Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
3. Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
4. Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
5. Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

Step 4 did it. My advice to all is NEVER choose covers for the screensaver! Thanks, Winston.
I had a slightly different problem, but Step 4 resolved it for me as well.
My issue was, Apple TV would never download my iTunes Match library.
After issuing a "Reset all settings" per step 4 instructions, then it finally downloaded my iTunes Match library.
Don't know why.
It was very frustrating, as everything else was working.
I was logged into iTunes Radio fine, I was logged into iCloud pictures fine, I was logged into my iTunes Store account fine.
Anyway, it's fixed now.
But I can't say "it just worked" from the beginning....
