Why does Netflix crash while watching it on Apple TV?
Not all the time but periodically when watching a movie on Netflix using Apple TV the Netflix app crashes and goes back to the home apple tv screen. Why does this happen?

That will usually indicate a network issue. First try rebooting ATV and router.
Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settings - general - network). If on wifi try ethernet. Go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise.
