Time/Date metadata in display in timeline
Can I view the time/date from from my hdv footage (Canon HV20) in the FCP X timeline?
And then export so I can make a dvd that way?

There is a timecode generator.available in the Effects Browser. There are display options tha t can be modified in the Inspector. (The TC ins the project TC - not the source TC.)
