ipad as an intranet server ?
I want to use my so I can serve webpages and content on the ipad whilst on the go... like iis can on the pc. How do I do this please?

Many thanks for this .. although it seems as if it won't get past the install stage.
It installs then asks you to register. Having done this you get sent a key only for it to reply there is a wrong ID / password combination...
Any other suggestions?

The problem with this app is that it is a full webserver app and relies on their server being up and net connectivity present for it to work..
I am looking for a localhost web server that works even when there is no network connectivity.... any ideas?
I dont think your going to find anything like what your looking for. iPads are just not setup to act like web servers. The above app more or less acts like a cloud storage provider than a web server. Setup for something like what your looking for is just not possible on the iPad
