Macbook 5.1 automatic shutdown on battery

Hi,

I have a MacBook 5.1, SMC version 1.32f8. My problem is that if I let the machine running on battery, it will shutdown when the battery still have more than 20% life. Sound like SMC version 1.5 solve this kind of problem, but I can download the update from Apple support site but when I run, it said my system doesn't support it.

Any clue?
