i downloaded the new version of IOS7. the latest version. i never used i tunes and i dont need to or want to.

you (APPLE) didnt mantion that ill have to connect to the iTunes after ill download the new version and now my iPhone is locked!!! NO cell phone, NO music, email, camera or ANY OTHER APP! im very angry and its not ok. Im going to a vacation, far away from home, without my family and now i dont have cell phone!

what the **** i supose to do now?!

i have only 2 hours before i have to leave!

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1, worst update ever released!!!!

I am not Apple. No one in this user to user forum is Apple. We are all users like you. So shouting at us will not help resolve your problem.

You normally don't have to connect to iTunes to update an iPhone, but if something goes wrong during the update (you lost your data connection, you touched a button before the update was complete, your battery was low, you didn't have enough free memory, your phone was jailbroken, etc) then the phone must be restored using iTunes.
