Questions about iMac and Adobe software

I have an iMac with id 11,2 cpu 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 running Mavericks 10.9.2. It is 64 bit capable. I have no problems installing and running Adobe Lightroom now at 5.4. It was working successfully with 4GB of ram although I have now upgraded to 12GB.
