Ipod Nano 4th Gen stopped synching podcasts

My Ipod stopped synching podcasts . It shows a message, "No Podcasts. You can synch podcasts from Itunes." Itunes downloads podcasts daily and the podcasts can be played on my computer. I just can't get them into my Ipod. I have no problem with synching music into my Ipod. How do I get my Ipod to return to it's normal function and synch podcasts?
