Since you can't add them to wish list why not download the app then delete. When ever you're ready for it it's waiting for you in purchased in the App store.

Ugh. I can't believe this most basic of features is missing.

I too would like to be able to wishlist a list of apps as I find them, and then when back on wifi download just the ones I want to check out.

Since there is no wish list for free apps we'll have to invent a work-around.

    Open the app.

Tap the share icon (box witharrow.)

    Tap Copy Link.

Go to Notes, start a Wish list Note, paste link into that Note.

Thinkin' outside the box (since I do not have an iDevice, I have to!)

about the same number of steps as your workaround?

    Howzabout

    1. note the exact name of the App
    2. switch to Safari (or other browser of your preference)
    3. type " super mario run itunes " for the search term (I can just do it in the location bar, can you?)
a top result will be the iTunes "Preview" web page that everyone can see regardless of platform
    4. Browser BOOKMARK(Favorite) that page - you could create a browser bookmark 'folder' to save these in
