How do I reset my MacBook Pro?

So I just bought an old MacBook Pro (2006) from eBay and I warn to completely erase it. Basically like its a brand new computer. I want to erase the previous owners existence of owning the computer, and make it 100% mine. How do I do this?

That's old enough that it should have come with the original OS X installation discs with which you can install a fresh copy of OS X.
