Forgotten Passcode on 5s

I have forgotten my passcode key and I am locked out of my iPhone 5s. I have tried to restore it in iTunes but am unable to switch off Find my Phone so am unable to proceed. What do I do now?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.1

You have to restore using the recovery mode as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

You can also log into icloud.com on a computer and turn off "Find my iPhone" from there.
