application install dvd is damaged

hello 🙂

I just reinstalled leopard 10.5.7 OS and before i reinstall applications budle using application install dvd , i updated leopard to 10.5.8

every time i try the dvd it gave me a message with ( dvd is damaged )

the question is :

1 ... is the upgrade maybe the cause of this message ( from 10.5.7 to 10.5.8 ) ???

2 ... is there is a way to reinstall this application bundle online from apple servers ?!!!

3 ... what are these applications ? are they very important to the OS ??

1. Not likely.

2. Do you know what Applivations they are, or is there a 2x691-****-A number or such on the Disc?

i think that it has iLife package and Apple hardware test app

it is a 2z691-****-A

it is the dvd disc came with the OS X 10.5.7

do you have any solution

i just read an article about changing date and time of the mac to earlier 2010 !! it is a certificate expierd issue !!

Yes, the year setting back to 2010 can help with iLife installs, worth a try.

For AHT you boot holding d key to run it.
