I downloaded dashboard widgets to desktop. how do I get them into dashboard?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Some widgets required some plugin, but attempts to load failed. I let it try for a few minutes (with "loading..." showing on the widget screen), then gave it. I am particularly interested in the Mars Explorer, but couldn't get it to work.
