After trying to upgrade iOS 7.1.1 for 2 days over WiFi:

After trying to upgrade iOS 7.1.1 to iPhone4 for 2 days over WiFi:

1. Not success because not enough available storage, OK I delete some Apps.

2. Retry, Not success, verify upadate and nothing update. Keep on pop-up and automatic update but not success.

3. This morning when I try again, the screen just go blank with show sign to connect to iTunes via USB Cable.

4. I connect with Cable but iTunes cannot see my iPhone. Test connection with my iPad-2 is OK and update to my iPad-2 is successful in the first time.

5. I try to Reset iPhone but still come back to the same page to connect iTunes.

See this support document when the phone is not recognized in Windows. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538


If that does not work, then remove and reinstall iTunes, using this support document and doing it in the order specified. This is important to do it in this order, as not following these instructions can lead to more issues. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
