Need more than 4GB of RAM Macbook

I have an early Macbook Pro 13" (2011) w/ a 2.7Ghtz Processor and 4GB 1333 of DDR3 Ram and I'm wanting to upgrade to 8GB of ram or more if possible. It's showing it's not available for my machine when I looked on the apple site. Does this mean I'm stuck w/ what I have? I would hope that I can upgrade my ram on my laptop instead of having to buy a whole new computer. Any pros out there that can help what I think is a simple question to you experienced Mac guys.

Buy RAM from a source such as OWC or Crucial. Your computer can accept 16GB total.

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated! I knew it was a simple question that you pros would comment on quickly. I've owned my Macbook Pro since 2011. When I was deployed to Guantanamo it seemed that everyone in my company owned a Macbook Pro and they LOVED them. I had wanted one for a while and when I got home. I had the coin to do so. I'll never own another windows pc as long as I live. You guys ROCK! \m/
