can't login to facetime

Any help would be great.

After installing mavericks I haven't been able to login to facetime. When I enter apple id and password it goes to next screen where you click email address and then click next. the wheel spins while verifying then facetime just goes back to first login screen. I can do this back and forth indefinitely.

I have already talked to Apple support and played around with creating new user on my macbook pro and trying to login, trying to login in safe mode and even doing a mavericks reinstall. Nothing has worked.
