For the last week or so I have been having problems maintaining my internet connectivity. I usually notice it when watching streaming video and it just stops, or while online gaming and getting booted when the internet disconnects. However, every time I go to my wifi icon and it says I am still connected to my internet. I then go to System Preferences > Network > choose my network and go to 'Assist Me' and 'Diagnostics'. Every time it tells me that my internet connection appears to be working correctly, and then it does - I can restart my video, game, refresh pages with no problem. But this only lasts for about five minutes and then it stops working again.


Anyone know what the problem could be? Or anything else I could try? Thanks!


ETA: I have disconnected and reconnected the modem/ router several times during this period of time to try and fix it too.
