This may be due to automatic downloads having been enabled.
Enabling Automatic Downloads on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
- Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
- Enter your Apple ID and password.
- Tap to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

Apr 28, 2014 2:11 PM in response to Allen Aby prinzesspam,I figured out that since I had to restore my iPad from a previous download, there was no option to stop or delete it. It took awhile to finish so I deleted it after it was done for more memory.
Thank you for replying!
