I can't lock screen on Ipad mini. My lock screen button is working for shutdowning Ipad, but don't working for lock screen. Also I tried to lock screen from Assistive Touch and it's not working. When I click lock screen on assistive it nothing happens.

It sounds like you are unable to lock the screen with either the Sleep/Wake button, or with the Assistive Touch button on the screen but the Sleep/Wake button will allow you to restart your iPad and will turn it on. I would start by quitting all the running apps on your device:

iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

Swipe the app up to close it.

When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:

I guess this iPad had a problem with Home button. Maybe with its flex. It prevented iPad from reaching sleep mode.

all you guys need to do is to Turn off the iPad Cover Lock/Unlock option off which you can find by going to Settings/General/iPad Cover Lock

I have this issue currently. I have read elsewhere about the iPad cover lock setting but I don't have such an option. I have seen some people say it only appears when you have a genuine iPad cover which I dont. I tried to fake it with a magnet in the right spot but it did nothing. Btw I have an iPad 2. I have had this issue only since I erased my device last week so that I could get a fresh start!

Hi. In iOS 10, the Lock/Unlock option has moved to Settings > Display & Brightness. Who knows why?
