Q: I have an iphone 5 and I cant receive group text

hello I have an iphone 5 and my friends always try to add me to the group text but I never receive anything
there are three android users and other 3 apple users and I am the only who can''t get into the group
my question is what do i have to do to get into the group and receive the group texts?

The carrier I have is H2O

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2

    Hello Marthell,

     

    It sounds like you are the only one of your group that is not getting group messages. I would start by verifying that you have group messaging enabled in the settings:

     

    Settings > Messages

    The Group Messaging setting applies only to MMS messages.

    • Disabling Group Messaging has no effect on iMessage behavior. Responses to group iMessages are always sent to all recipients.
    • Group messaging with MMS requires an appropriate plan from your carrier for use on iPhone.

    The screenshot is from iOS 6, but the location is the same.

     

    If that is enabled but you are unable to recieve group messages reset your network settings on the phone and test the issue again.

    Reset iPhone settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset, then choose


    Reset Network Settings
