Please note the section for 10.6

Apr 27, 2014 2:47 AM in response to Lannyby omegajon,Hi Lanny,
Thank you for your assistance.
I have O/S OSX 10.6.8 and Facetime 1.0.3 (167)
I tried to upgrade to Facetime 1.05 but the Apple Store won't let me, it says my system is up to date.
I also tried the Apple upgrade but that also says my system is up to date.
I have Windows XP on my Apple through VMware Fusion because of my Quicken programm and I have never tried to upgrade to a different O/S incase it affected my Windows/Quicken situation.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Regards
John

Also, have you purchased the Quicken 2007 for Intel (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mt. Lion and Mavericks) from Intuit? It is a full featured download for only $15:

I have been recently inquiring of Quicken PC users on this forum as to why they continue with Quicken PC with virtualization and the only compelling reason I have discovered so far has to do with the inability to use QIF files to convert investment transactions.
That is, if a user has investment transactions, then can only be manually reentered into Quicken for Mac; and if a user has a substantial number of investment transactions, this manual entering of data might hinder the user from leaving his Quicken PC.
Otherwise, I have not been able to find anyone who can articulate a good reason not to migrate to Quicken 2007 Mac.
Here are Intuit's instructions for converting your Quicken PC data file for use in Quicken for Mac:
