I broke my iPhone 5 and I can't unlock it, touch my screen, or anything. I REALLY need to save all my stuff.

I broke my iPhone 5 and I can't unlock it, touch my screen, or anything. I REALLY need to save all my stuff. Every time I plug my phone in so I can back it up and then put all my stuff on my new iPhone 5s, iTunes asks me to allow access on my phone by putting my password in. Well guess what... I CAN'T do that because I can't use my screen. Someone please help before I break my old phone even more by throwing it against the wall. I'm using the newest version of iTunes and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't let me lose my pictures.

If your phone has a passcode on it and the screen is non-responsive, there is nothing you can do to retrieve the data now. It is stuck on the phone.

You can try importing the photos using Image Capture (Mac) or the scanner & camera wizard or equivalent for PC, but you may not be able to do so with the passcode on the phone.

If you were backing up to iCloud, much of your data should be there and can be restored to the new phone.

My screen didn't break, but it did become hard to navigate with all the colored lines it had after a cracked several times. Fix to your issue was plugging in the HDMI-USB connector that connects to my iPhone and HDMI cable connects to my TV. From there, my TV screen displayed my screen to be able to type in my passcode. It was a bit tricky because I had to estimate where the button was at, but my TV could tell me if I was right or wrong. Hope that helps.
