Q: if I don't have enough memory for the upgrade

i want to upgrade my safari

but I can't until I upgrade my Mac OS X 10.6.8

when I try to do this it reports not enough memory

how do I get more memory for the update?

If you mean disk space, delete items from the internal drive.
If you mean RAM, buy it from a source such as OWC or Crucial.
